Details: The flat is located in an old historical building in Cihangir/Beyoglu neighbourhood in Istanbul. It’s designed for a young couple, who enjoys simple and functional design with a hint of industrial touch. Owning two cats, is the origin of the unusal selections of materials & items such as wooden panels and blinds instead of curtains and leather as an upholstery in most of the furnitures instead of textiles. Solid-wood and iron sheets are other materials prefered in loose furnitures for being strong materials ages well. The thing makes this flat so unique and special is any furniture used in this place is custom designed.
