Renovation Project in Galata-Beyoglu/Istanbul

Year: 2016

Construction area: 60 sqm

Details: Located in the historic Galata neighborhood of old Istanbul, the space has been transformed from its semi-ruinous state through a careful restoration process. The project reinterprets the original structure to accommodate a contemporary office function while preserving its architectural character. Period-specific materials such as hardwood, marble, and cement tiles were extensively used to reinforce the building’s historical identity, creating a balanced dialogue between heritage and modern workplace requirements.
